Jed is President Emeritus of Sterling College (VT) and one of the founders of the Wilderness Risk Managers Conference. My life's work has been as a practioner of wilderness and experiential education. Served on many boards, including NOLS. Editor of Accidents in North American Mountaineering for 40 years. Co-author of Accreditation Standards for Adventure Programs. Former Outward Bound Instructor and Program Director. Designed a Master’s degree program in experiential education and was a faculty member at U. of New Hampshire. Climber and skier for 50 years. M.Ed. - Counseling/Psychology.
