About me
Misty Blakesley works at the Mountain Center in Tewa Territories with Native American communities, survivors of violence, folks in recovery, people in the juvenile justice system and others. She encourages healing and growth through connection with the natural world. She is a mentor with the Tracking Project, a 500+hr yoga teacher, and is a supervisor, staff trainer and head rock climbing trainer. Her thesis work at the Institute of American Indian Arts is on tracking, mapping, and humans’ connection to nature. Misty teaches trauma-sensitive care, Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid, and Motivational Interviewing.
